Job centre wanting a chat

I am on UC and had a message in my journal today. I am in the LCRWA if that matters. It was from a man from my job centre and he is asking about how he can help with things like taking the next steps and things about confidence.
Has anyone else had this and what is it about? What happens if you say no and what happens if you go to it?

I think it depends on your work group. Is this about preparing you for employment practise interviews, basic skills course that type of thing. Although you are Limited capacity I wouldn’t necessary rule out help if offered.

I suspect this is really dependent on why you’re on lcrwa, as it can cover a range of outcomes. I don’t think anyone can advise really.

You decline and they do nothing further

I had a call from my job centre asking me this (first call since 2018 when I went on ESA), wanting to know if they could put me on any training courses etc. When I said that I am ill health retired and can't work (medically assessed to say this) she said sorry to bother you your obviously not the type of claimant we're looking for and put the phone down before I could ask what it was about.
I'm assuming they're looking at people they can prepare/help back into work, going by government announcements over the last year or so. It probably depends why your in this group and if they're is a chance of you returning to employment. The cynical side of me thinks its a tick box exercises or trying to frighten people back into work. Who knows.

Thank you for the replies. I have no idea if it is a new government thing or what. Getting a text to check my journal makes me worry so much. Seems it is not something to worry about if I dont take up their offer.
