Anyone abroad is getting a gif, 2 presents to post, two to drop off, then xmas cards for the others.

Anyone else doing similar? No children involved!

I only do presents for those I actually see on Christmas Day abd Boxing Day. No cards or presents to post. Is that what you mean?

Kitterkitkat · 09/12/2025 06:55

Yes! Similar. I don't live near people (except for 2) and don't feel up to the whole shebang this year of scurrying around post offices

Im cutting back on the friend for whom I got lovely birthday and Christmas gifts for last year yet I got a naff present for Xmas - zero thought/poundland - and no mention at my big birthday. She will expect attention but she can jump.

I only do cards for less than 5 people because they’re all in their 80s + and I know it means a lot to them. I put them in the post box.

I only buy gifts for my Dad and niece and nephew and I see them on Christmas day. Now the n and n are teenagers they prefer cash so I just need a trip to a cash point.

Haven't sent cards for 10 years.
Only buy gifts for dh and adult dd.
I've never done traditional food.
This year we are away from 23rd for a week to a remote cottage.
