Gravey for duck ,pre brought to use as base /turkey or beef or pork? Can't make my own

I've tried and it doesn't work what should I buy as a base? Foe Christmas

Chicken then add the juices from the duck.

Chicken or turkey. As above, flavour with some of the juices (but not the fat) and maybe add some fruitiness - a little orange juice and zest or a spoonful of marmalade or even a little cherry jam. Sparingly, to taste, of course!
