Also looking for recommendations!

Early next July I will have DC 2 x 18 year olds and 1 x 20 year old + DH (5 adults).

Been left a little bit of ££ and want to get away one last time with them all and take advantage of that extra bit of time before school holidays start and after A level exams are over for slightly cheaper and less small kids.

We love culture so thinking Egypt or Athens but worried it will be too hot :-(.We all really want to do the pyramids desperately though.

Main question is what to do about boyfriends/girfriends - especially booking this far ahead. Invite them and ask them to contribute- but what about breakups? Not invite them? Book a villa instead so we have some flexibility (but then won’t be doing tours of pyramids etc as won’t be a group tour).

ideas and experiences welcome :-)🙏

O/t but I read your title as Farm holiday not family. Thought it was a little niche (but lovely).

I wouldn't invite partners actually. Its a last holiday as your "core family" which will hopefully expand in coming years. A goodbye to childhood.

But with five relatives and three partners you’ll def have enough people to make private tour viable price wise.

but you’d be mad to go to either destination in July tbh.

culture with less heat - Croatia?

Either would be crazy hot! You’d be mad
i’d get a villa on a nice Greek island. And just say no to partners or it will get very complicated. And they might split up anyway.

I suppose we could do that. I just don’t know when we’d ever be able to do Egypt after next summer…

Thanks all - anyone actually done Egypt at the end of June?
