Y1 for being able to write on the line and writing some letters so that they go under the line
Spelling Y1/2 (very good!)

Is he at a pushy private school where he’s sitting exams or something soon so needs to be ahead of the average child of his age?

Thanks all. It was my mom who was a teacher for 35+ years (although not in UK, i am not british, she is used to a completely different system than here). She is lovely and the best grandmother but when it comes to school is on totally different level 🫣

I’ve not voted. This to me looks like a 5 year old Reception child who is able to copy accurately and has quite good pencil control. But it could be the OP pretending to be 4!
