When will I be told the outcome of my ex answering bail?

It's been 11 days now since he was due to answer it. He was arrested back in July for stalking and harassment offences and bailed until October, when he was re-bailed until the end of November.

But no one has updated me. I've contacted the police countless times and I'm just told that the officer in charge isn't in or that she is in and will contact me but then she never does.

Is this normal?

Get an IDSVA and they can contact the police and update you. In the meantime, do not stop trying to contact the police until they tell you

Sadly it is normal the police are massively stretched, but you absolutely need to know. Stay as safe as possible in meantime - stay with family/ friends and keep neighbours etc updated

Hey, thanks for your reply. I absolutely hate bothering people so I don't want to keep harassing them, but at the same time I need to know if there's a court date (or even worse, he's been NFA'd and is back at work, as we worked together until all of this - in a prison ironically!)
