Mince overnight - is it ok?

Hi there,

i defrosted some mince overnight last night to make cottage pie tonight but we haven’t ended up using it. I don’t want it to go to waste so planned to fry it off and put in the slow cooker on low overnight tonight.

tomorrow (Monday) I will then construct the pie and eat for dinner also on Monday.

will this be ok?

Yes that's fine

I'd prob just leave it in fridge uncooked and cook it tomorrow tbh. I often don't use within 24 hr of defrost with any meat and no ones been ill yet.
