Hi 👋🏻
I stopped taking the pill on the 27th oct.
move not had a period since, but had some weird side effects since stopping.
extreme fatigue, sickness and headaches.
how long did it take you for your body/cycles to go back to normal?
and how long after coming off the pill did it take you to conceive?
thanks ☺️

7 months.

smallsilvercloud · 07/12/2025 16:18

2 weeks for each of my 3 kids

Blarn · 07/12/2025 16:20

One month. Don't think I even had a period between stopping and getting pregnant.

Four months for both, though between first and second I was on the mini pill. I’m pretty sure my periods started up right away though. I was 41 and 43.

Brightbluesomething · 07/12/2025 17:43

Within a month of coming off the pill both times. Never had a period as I was already pregnant.
Knowing I am (or at least was) very fertile has made me extra careful with contraception since so it was a blessing.

Have you done a pregnancy test?

Niftymum88 · 07/12/2025 21:20

Wow that quickly.
yeah I’ve had mixed results.
some have half a line then then a line, then no line.
doctor said it could be my hormones levelling off and doing my bloods on the 16th

Not sure what your doctor is on about - coming off the pill does not give a positive pregnancy test unless you are pregnant. Hormone fluctuations don’t cause a positive or ambiguous pregnancy test result

FastTurtle · 07/12/2025 21:27

2 weeks.

Soony · 07/12/2025 21:28

There's no faint line or half a line, Afaik you are either pregnant or not pregnant.

Niftymum88 · 07/12/2025 21:59

I think they were evap lines.
Going to wait a few days and test again 🙈
