Blue badge question

Can I use a blue badge if dropping off disabled person and escorting them in to venue before returning to my car?

Will I get in trouble or if someone sees me come back to my car with out disabled person?

I am also coming to pick them up a couple hours later. So wondering if I can also do same in return journey?

Yes you can thats exactly what a blue badge is for.

He normally drives himself to places so this is a first for us

There are some restrictions eg you can't park on zebra crossings or if you're obstructing a junction or causing a danger but they're common sense. You can park on double yellow lines but you need to display the clock. If you're unsure just double check. If you're parking in a disabled bay in a carpark, you'll be fine. Try not to worry. It's there ti make things easier.
