Who’s enjoying all the cheesy Christmas movies?

Some of them are so bad that they’re good.
I watched Christmas Cabin on Prime this morning while everyone else was in bed. It was so awful but entertaining.
Netflix seem to have the same ones they’ve had for the last couple of years or so. Maybe a couple of new ones?
Whats the worst and best you’ve seen?

I liked Click and Collect.

I only watch the Hallmark ones if I have exhausted all other options!

Netflix own are usually pretty good. I really like Meet me next Christmas. My Secret Santa was good, really enjoyed it.

Someone else recommended the scandi series Home for Christmas - despite dubbing, I really loved it and recommend it to everyone

I watch most of them . But I refuse to watch anything with Candice Cameron Bure in it. She's unbelievably homophobic and racist

Really! I might have to avoid her in future….

I really enjoyed Last Christmas. Not too cheesy and good music.

The Christmas Shepherd is my favourite of all time

Handsome widower with cute daughter loses his dog . . . sweet single lady finds dog and cares for it . . . . you can guess the rest, can't you?!!!!

Oh I loved Click and Collect!

Netflix has just suggested 'lovehard' to me - anyone seen it?

TwotierChristmas · 07/12/2025 18:33

@ithinkilikethislittlelife thanks I only saw half once but loves it

JetFlight · 08/12/2025 09:43

I’ll look out for the Click and Collect one as it seems well received.
@JasonTindallsTan that’s brilliant. I love the ones where their mainly personality trait seems to be “loves Christmas”. Not sure how they get on for the rest of the year.

We started last night and DH selected The Holdovers, don't get me wrong it's a very good film but nor sure I would say it's very festive and I felt quite sad at the end!
However, if you're looking for a good film post Christmas give it a watch.

I love a cheesy Christmas movie. Watched one last week where the male romantic lead was supposed to be an English Duke - the accent was so bad it was funny. The actress in it was Winnie from The Wonder Years but it took me forever to realise.

I also set my watch to see how long it is before we have a scene where the female lead is wearing a fabulous winter coat. I think I watch these things just for the coats.
