I was mates with his brother and knew him to let on to. I drunkenly and publicly dumped a guy who had been stringing me along and I got so angry when he declared how much he loved me (his actions proved otherwise). My now husband came over to see if I was ok. That was on Boxing day 24 years ago and we had our first date on New Years day. We moved in together in March and I found out I was pregnant in July. We married the following January when I was 37 weeks pregnant. We have 3 kids in total. 😊

I was 18 and playing an online game with a few friends and one of my uncles the summer before Uni. We were in a large battle against another group of players and losing, so we all started contacting other friends to join in the game to help us out. One of the guys my uncle brought in was very funny and I started talking to him in game a bit. Turns out we had met once at a wedding 4 years earlier.

We carried on casually chatting over the summer, then when I started uni I found out he worked in the field my degree was in. He helped out with my first assignment and from there we were chatting every single night for hours.

By November we were together and madly in love. I got very sick around the same time and needed surgery with a long recovery so I dropped out of uni and moved to his city as I had a lot of family there who could help.

From then on we never spent more than a few hours apart for 15 years, 4 months and 11 days. He died 18 months ago.

I’m so sorry. 😔
