Where did you meet your significant other and how long have you been together?

Just wondering, as I met my other half on a dating site and we’ve been together 7 years.

In the pub. I was the Landlady and he was a customer. Met in 1998 and married in 2001, just celebrated our 24th wedding aniversary

Met at an illegal rave under a railway arch in London, been together 22 years.

University and quarter of a century!

Pub. Friend of a friend. Been together and not married for 43 years. Our eyes didn't exactly meet across a crowded room because he was off his face on acid, but he did look very cute (young Axl Rose).

University motorcycle club. Together 45 years, married for 43 years.

In a graveyard, we were on a battlefield tour of the Somme, I knew nobody else on our coach, left with a “good friend” and 20 other bonkers friends ❤️ together 7.5yrs married 4.5yrs

At work (we worked together for 10 years) and we’ve been together 12 years.

University. Together 22 years and married almost 10

In the street. He was walking his gorgeous dog and I stopped to speak to him about her.

From the first meeting we saw each other every day (sometimes only for an hour or so as he worked shifts) and got married 5 months after meeting. Been married 46 years

On Plenty of Fish, about 7 years ago. Wasn’t really that attracted but chatted for a while, he came round to do some flatpack and it went from there

Met at a disco in 1981 at 24, married a year later 1982, 43 years married now, was ready to settle down then but had been engaged before and a couple of other boyfriends but was too young and flighty then,!

Introduced through friends who then almost immediately split up. Awkward. Twenty years ago now.

At my friend, his then girlfriends house 19 years ago, been together 15 years.
