I know their podcast is really popular but this guy is coming over as a right idiot. Lots of forced laughter from the host. Ed Gamble looks mortified too.

I didn't watch i don't understand James Acaster's humour i find him really awkward,was it really awkward?

HollyhockDays · 06/12/2025 23:35

It was very awkward. I think they got “hell” and he did this whole bit of wrecking the set and sitting there playing like he was sulking.

It was painful to watch. I’m not sure it will have attracted people to the podcast / live shows which is presumably why they were there.

Oh no sounds awful, I saw the bit before on bbc breakfast that they were on, so didn't bother.

I just don't understand how anyone would find him/that funny.

I didn't see it but sounds disappointing, it's my favourite podcast!

HollyhockDays · 07/12/2025 08:42

I’ve only listened to the podcast a few times so I don’t know is that how he normally gets on!
