Gutted 😪 - lost wedding ring

Just went to get my wedding ring and my fit bit out of a bag I used on a city break recently and they are gone 😪

My bag was a cross body bag and was with me travelling to and from the hotel. I stupidly left my bag in the hotel when we were out sightseeing during the day/night.

Just posting out of pity really. I feel sick these items were really sentimental to me.

Just curious why you would remove your wedding ring.

I mainly ware my eternity ring and only like to have one ring on at a time.

I realy hope you don't get any of the unpleasant posters on your thread accusing you of being up to no good in the same way a DW losing her engagement ring in the shower brought them out of the woodwork on another thread.

A little update

I've found my wedding ring and watch. I went into my bag earlier today to get my purse and thought I heard something so had a good rummage and my watch and ring were under the bag lining 🙃

I am absolutely delighted a Christmas miracle in this house 🎄🤣

That is great. I lost my phone (it was a flip). Went into a panic. It had gone in under the lining. To this day I cannot find the hole it went in. I had to cut it out.

No need to be so snippy . I asked politely. Most people I know don't remove their wedding rings.

Oh I’m so pleased for you OP. I lost a bracelet my DH bought me and found it in a bag lining. So I know how pleased you must be.

I’m so glad you found it, OP. I left an entire travel box of jewellery in a hotel room. Inside it was my engagement ring and special pieces I got when my babies were born. I was beside myself.

The hotel were fabulous, found the box and couriered it back to me. I thought it was all lost forever. Thank goodness for the honest hotel staff.

I found my missing car key in the lining too, unlike you though thankfully I knew it was in my bag as it’s keyless entry and start but took me 45 minutes to find it partly due to not thinking straight and partly needing to find scissors. My earring turning up in the fridge is a bigger mystery!

@purplecorkheart funny you should say that because I couldn't find any holes either. Then I found one about the size of a 10p 🤷‍♀️ glad you got your phone back.

@BruisedNeckMeat thank you 😊 I am so glad the hotel staff managed to find your jewellery and return them back to you. I can imagine your panic and sadness that's a lot of special items for you.
