If you normally get paid on 25th?

If you normally get paid on 25th of the month, what date would you expect to get paid before Christmas the 19th or the 23rd?. I know I could just ask am I Ask tomorrow? What do you think, just for fun.

23rd or 24th tbh. But our guys get paid the last Friday of each month but this month they get paid the day we finish for Christmas (23rd) - that stems from the days when we were profitable enough to pay a Christmas bonus so wanted them to have the money to spend over the festive season.

The working day before, which would be the 24th.

I would have thought the 24th to be honest.

Usually earlier by a week at my work- around 17th or so

We're getting paid on the 19th - gives payroll time to sort any issues before Christmas itself

We get paid on the 27th. Which would be the 26th on a normal month as it’s a saturday ( so pay on the friday)

Anyway we are paid on 22nd or 23rd this year i can’t remember. But i don’t touch it. Lucky to be able to and make sure i save for this time of year. January is depressing and loonnnng enough without being skint too.

We get paid on 20th and when that day falls on a weekend the Friday before. So, 19th for us!

DH gets paid on the 25th - had a look to see when he was paid last Christmas.

Christmas Day last year was on a Wednesday and DH was paid on Friday 20th. So not 23rd or 24th which I might have expected. Will have to see what happens this year.

Same. I’m not sure I actually like getting paid early, though, as it makes January seem long!

I can see why people don’t like it but I find I don’t spend any money in the week of Christmas tbh so it all evens out in the end.
