Christmas tablecloth - blue (ish) theme

My dinner plates are gorgeous but a pale-ish blue, so not Christmassy. I am looking for a tablecloth that will go with the blue but will also be Christmassy. Colour wise, there will be a lot of natural greenery on the table, and bits of plum (e.g. candles). Looking for something of decent quality but not crazy expensive and would really appreciate recommendations. Thanks!

I think bright red looks lovely with pale blue, especially if you add in some bits of greenery/twigs etc. how about a white tablecloth that you can use for lots of different occasions and then a red runner to make it Christmassy (maybe then use red candles not plum?) or plum to match your candles?

Thanks @Abracadabra12
Not keen on introducing red because the richer plum/fig colours look lovely alongside the dusty pale blue, and natural greenery looks lovely with everything. I guess I'd like a tablecloth that brings it all together whilst maintaining that colour theme. I probably could have explained myself much better to start with!

How about one of these? Or lots more on Amazon and Celia Digby

White! Or sparkly white with a burgundy table runner. Don’t add too many colours. Blue and burgundy for the main theme. Napkins - white. We have a centre piece with silver baubles and miniature birds in it. Looks great against burgundy of the table runner. Silver candlesticks and you’re done!

I agree that you can’t go wrong with white.

I have a white tablecloth that must be 30 years old. Stains bleach out so it always looks pristine. Unlike my pale blue one that has red wine and curry stains.

It goes with silver and blue for cool icy looks. Looks amazing with dark green and gold. It also goes with plums, navy and richer tones. I like a Scandinavian red, green and white look.

You can use a white table cloth all year round. With yellow at Easter, pastels for summer, oranges at Autumn. Don’t buy something that you will only use a few times a year.

I think white always looks most stylish and is a good backdrop to green foliage or reds and blues. I once did a pale blue and silver Christmas table theme and used a white table cloth.

Or you could get a blue runner that has a Nordic theme.

Maybe get a white cloth with some silver on it if you want a Christmas specific cloth. La Redoute and H&M are my go to for table clothes. H&M so a cotton (linen look) cloth.

I think you're all right, white would be lovely. Any specific ones?
