DS 2 weeks away from turning one. We had a difficult start with weaning where he really wasn’t interested in food but persisted and we were doing great. Which I was super pleased about as we intended to remove formula once he turned one, and replace his morning and bedtime bottles with small bottles of whole milk. And also he is starting nursery at the end of January…
However, the last two days, he is suddenly spitting out EVERYTHING. No illness, no teething, just refusing to swallow any food. He’ll open his mouth for a spoonful, take a bite of something but then just spits it back out.
I know this has been short lived so far, but I’m feeling so bloody disheartened..
I’ve tried eating with him, distracting with toys, etc etc. nothing is helping.
any tips or advice?
