Ring doorbells for flats?

Does anyone have a Ring door bell for their flat? I’m moving to a flat and contemplating getting one. Are they worth it?

TIA

And if you feel safer because of it?

I have a Eufy for which no subscription is payable. It is mounted opposite my (inner) front door. I check in a few times a week. I let the freeholder know before it went live and also have a notice above my front door advising anyone entering the building (two flats in a Victorian house) that they are being recorded.

The first floor tenant complained to us so we moved it them complained to his landlord but I checked with ICO and there’s nothing they can do to make me remove it

Depends on what your door faces and your neighbours.
In my block of flats the doors face each other so point straight at the neighbours door plus catch anyone who walks past and there's no way of avoiding this.
My neighbour on a different floor did ask before she put hers up and I said it was fine, others may not though.

Thanks all. This is helpful. Our door doesn’t face anyone. There’s only one other neighbour on the same floor and we’re tucked round the corner away from them so no one will pass us unless they are going to our door.

I hadn’t considered Eufy so I’ll have to check them out too.
