Just posting a warning in case it helps anyone else.
I had a Hotpoint repair booked today and although they technically have cancellation options, in reality it’s really hard and slow. The links don’t work properly, the phone system loops you around with no option to cancel, and there’s no quick way to stop an engineer coming. I couldn’t choose my date or time slot.
What’s annoyed me even more is that they are sending out the same engineer as last time. My cooker failed after around seven months, he came out to fix it, and after that visit another part stopped working. I also felt really uncomfortable with how chatty/judgmental he was and the personal questions he asked.
I need reasons that he can’t use the bathroom as I have mental health issues with little time and it’s quite gross.
