I need to make an angel costume ASAP - please help!!

I have really messed up, I put in my calendar that DS needed this angel costume for the nativity next Monday, but turns out it’s tomorrow!!

Does anyone PLEASE have any ideas on what I can do?

Surely school have something? White tshirt and some silver or gold tinsel will do.

White pillowcase. Cut arm and head holes. Tinsel round waist?

Do you have a white sheet and a sewing machine

Have you got an old white net curtain you can cut a hole in the middle of for his head to go through? And something to tie round his waist for a belt? Bit of tinsel tied round his head for a halo?

Basically, anything white or silver you can cobble together?

(I think the homemade costumes are a large part of the charm of Nativity plays. Much prefer them to bought ones.)

but it does really depend what you can lay your hands on, anything white you can cut up

I second (third?) big white t-shirt or pillowcase if you don't have a t-shirt and can spare it. If you have some scrap cardboard, glue and foil then I'd draw some wings on the card, cut it out & glue foil on. Glue some string on to go round the arms or cross over the body. If you have tinsel that can be the halo and if there's enough a belt too. Good luck!

Biggest white shirt you have, cut the collar off and the sleeves down. Button at the back.

Can you get to a charity shop for something white if you don’t have anything in the house you are happy to cut up?

Yup, and with a bit on tinsel around the head too - that’s been my go to with my children for 20 years now!
