Hello, I'am trying to find a good quality lightweight, long sleeved, hoodless onesie for a 30 year old niece, all I can find are thick fleecy novelty ones. I've looked everywhere, I am looking for something closer to a sleepsuit, soft and lighter material, like jersey pjyamas. Maybe they have a different name? Joules used to have some lovely ones but they don't seem to now. On principle I don't buy from places like Shein. Years ago there were lots around but can't find any now, excluding one in Hush and one on the Next website. Am I missing something?! She's a size 8-10 so can fit into older teen sizes too.

DD has a pink and white stripy one from Victorias Secret. Its thermal but not fleecy of that makes sense. Buttons down the front with cuffed wrists and ankles. Was about £45/£50 though.

@SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease Thanks! they don't have her size on the VS site, but I saw there is one left in a size 8 regular on the Next website. Do you know if the regular is long in the legs? She's 5ft 6.

Just measured the inside leg is 28.5 inches but that’s been washed since September so probably a bit of shrinkage.

My adult DD has learning disability and wears onesies at night. I found these on Amazon which are quite lightweight. She is a size 8-10 and S fits well.

Sorry I notice you said hoodless. These do have a hood

StrawberryHoney · 30/11/2025 12:22

thanks @Bamboozled5 they look too thick, I'm after more of a tshirt Jersey material, like normal PJs.

Try Etsy
Pink Heart Romper

StrawberryHoney · 30/11/2025 12:41

Thanks @JamMakingWannaBe that is much closer to what I'm after! Didn't think if Etsy. Not quite there yet though, a bit less bright & no hearts, maybe more White Company style I think

surprised these seem to be so popular.

I had one years ago but you have to pull it right down, so you’re topless, to go for a pee. Which was freezing and I stopped wearing it.

does nobody seem to be bothered by this?

Me, I don't wear them for the same reason!
