I’ve been at Mumsnet for a long time now, over a decade actually, which is slightly terrifying. And I feel like I’ve worked more Black Friday weekend shifts than anyone should ever have to. Every year we wade through endless spreadsheets of deals to find the ones that are genuinely good. But there are always some things that really should stay on the shelf, no matter the discount.

We’ve got a team Slack chat going with some of our most ridiculous finds. Here are my favourites. Enjoy and add your own; you’ve probably seen far worse!

These are actually really useful for uni students where theyre not allowed to light candles, also if you have young children or pets. They are much safer than a naked flame and the scent released is more even and gentle.
