Nits: most ever found on one head?

Wet combing regularly here with Nitty Gritty. Cheer me up by telling the most you have ever found? Is there a better feeling than squishing them with the back of your fingernail?

I tried to squish one the other week, and it WOULD NOT DIE. Squishing it really hard between a piece of folded up kitchen towel, it took about 10 attempts before it would die. Unbelievable. Resultz (isopropyl myristate) took care of the rest though.

I used to half fill a Pyrex bowl with warm water ad sweep the nit comb through it after each ‘pass’ to rinse off the conditioner and the headlice. Very satisfying to hold the bowl up at the end and count them - you could also identify the newly hatched (small) ones and check that no new adults had been acquired which would have meant continuing for another 10 days
35 was my record I think.
