Remembering the dead

I’m remembering a close family member today, who died in their early 60s fa too young. A wonderful person who I miss.

I can’t really post online elsewhere so I just wanted to mark it here.

I miss you and I wish you were here. I had no idea how much until you were gone.

I am missing my friend Sam, who died tragically at age 24. You will always be missed, Sam.

Thanks for posting guys. It can be really sad posting about someone you’ve lost. X

Sorry for your losses. I’m thinking about a family friend who died around the time 16 years ago and thinking of a friend of a friend who has lost her dad this week. Both men were dedicated fathers, community oriented, and died too young.

I miss my gran and didn’t realise how much I would until she was no longer here.💔Love you gran.

Sorry for your losses, everyone posting Flowers

Lovely to hear about other people being remembered.

I never know what to do. I’m watching their favourite tv show and drinking their favourite drink, and crying. I know they’d tell me I was being ridiculous and to stop crying

I'm missing my daughter who died of COVID aged 29, she would have been 34 on December 10th. This time of year my heart aches more, she loved the run up to Christmas.
Sending love, understanding and strength to those of you who are left behind 💖

Thinking of my dearest friend Sue who passed away in December 2006. She was only 56. I still miss her every single day.

Life seems so cruel sometimes, and memories aren't always enough.

Think of you OP and sending love 💕

I’m so sorry everyone.

Sympathy to all of you, it can be triggered so unexpectedly.

My response is to say the prayer for the dead for them, which helps me, but I know that isn't everyone's thing.

I’m missing my granny, who I only knew as a child and I wish I’d known as an adult.

And a darling friend who I’m sure would be making me laugh.

And my sister in law, who was an excellent addition to the family.

Thanks for this thread OP. I’m missing my lovely mum who died aged 60 14 years ago and never got to meet DC 😢😢😢.

Missing my 26 year old nephew who died after a charity boxing match-it was a one off to raise money for Cancer Research. He left home that day and never came home. His death devastated us as a family and he is so loved and so missed.

Thinking of all of you who are grieving and for your lost loved ones.
