Going mad trying to remember a song!! PLEASE HELP!

Please help because this is driving me crazy. If you can work this out based on the incredibly vague information then you need a Nobel or something……

My autistic son LOVED a song a few years ago and watched the video incessantly. Then as he usually does, he forgot all about it. Today of course, he really wants to watch it again and neither of us can remember much about it 🤦🏻‍♀️.

It’s a pop / slightly indie -ish song. Very upbeat, the sort you might listen to when you first start going out with someone. I think it’s a lone male singer rather than a band. I’m pretty sure he’s white and UK - based rather than American. The video was against a black back drop and was the silhouette of the singer playing the guitar with loads of neon / electrical effects. I think the song started with some tinkly piano-ey type chords. I’m not great with timelines, I’d estimate anywhere from about 2015-2024 ish. It’s very catchy (not that you’d guess this by my super detailed description…..). I think it might have been a bit one hit wonder. I’ve not heard it used on reels etc.

I’ve tried endless google and ChatGPT searches with no luck.

If I was to try and think of similar-ish songs / vocals I’d say Passenger, Mark Ambor, Lucky Socks.

Please help! It’s literally stopping me from getting anything done today and I’ve got so much to do!

Unfortunately, I don’t think it was ever massively popular hence not being able to remember much more. Was good though, DS loved it.

Definitely an upbeat, chirpy song. You could imagine it being the sort of music hipster artisan coffee shops might play or Jamie Oliver as back ground music while he’s teaching us to make sourdough or something.

I was once advised not to rack my brain to remember something that’s playing hide-and-seek with my memory, but to let it go and you get on with something else. Often it will stroll back into your head the next day or soon. These days I’d also recommend jotting down the thing you were trying to remember, eg Jamie’s favourite music video, so you don’t end up desperately trying to remember what you were trying to remember!

I suddenly thought about looking on a v old Spotify playlist (I have ADHD so I get bored and start new ones) and there it was!

As you can see, the video is absolutely NOTHING like I described so really you all deserve a prize for having a go. Thank you so much. DS is delighted and now I can actually do the things I need to do 😆
