Presents for an 11 year old boy who says he doesn't want anything

We're struggling to come up with Christmas present ideas for our 11 year old son (year 7) who doesn't seem to want anything in particular. He's not into football but he does love: history, myths, facts about countries (capital cities etc) board games, computer games, D&D, and he has a great offbeat sense of humour. He's a big reader.

If you have a boy who sounds a bit like this, what are you getting him for Christmas?

Thank you :-)

@Randomchatthat book by Ian Wright is on our son’s present list this year! Also 11 years old. The facts look soooo interesting in that book.

Mini fridge for his room. We bought my grandson one for his bday and put his favourite soft drink in it. He loved it so much he phoned his mate to tell them he’d got one.

I’ve got an 11 year old boy. Some of the things he’s asked for or things I know he’d love is…

RC car
acrylic paint pens to customise stuff or paint pebbles
Little magnetic balls to fiddle with
puzzle
pack of playing cards
kids kindle paperwhite (he DOESN’T like reading so this is an attempt to remedy that
new bag for football kit
water bottles - always loses them
3D pen and filament

Mine has just turned 12 (y7) and has many of the same interests as your DS. We’ve got him;

A Castore/F1 hoodie
Lego creator set
Air Jordans
Books
A new Oodie
The new fifa 26 (or whatever it’s called!)
Some cool quality shin pads and gloves for karate
Chocolates

His big ask was a VR headset - DHs side of the family have put together and bought him a Meta Quest 3.

Not a present but for anyone on this thread that doesn't know it, the National Geographic podcast Greeking Out is excellent.

My 11 year old is a big reader. He and his elder brothers all loved books by Brandon Mull - the Fablehaven series followed by the Dragonwatch Series. The Beyonder Series followed by the Five Kingdom Series.

By a different author he also really enjoyed The Rangers Apprentice series followed by The Royal Ranger series .
