Looking for sympathy!!

I’ve got a long history of kidney infections (usually moving from a basic uti) and part of my issues is that the kidney problems end up with me passing small kidney stones. It’s excruciating!

I’m currently on my second round of antibiotics for a kidney infection and I’m going nuts with the pain, I haven’t slept properly for 3 nights. I could go to hospital but I don’t fancy 8 hours wait in A&E and then the argument that I’m faking to get drugs (.I live in Glasgow, it’s an issue here).

So basically I’m looking for some solidarity while I pass a couple of stones and try not to throw up with the pain xx

can your GP not do more for you, such as some painkillers? anti-sickness? you have all the sympathy as you want as kidney infections and especially stones are agony

I sympathise with you I passed some kidney stones back in 2005 and the pain was worse than childbirth. It took me 3 days to pass them and my husband thought I was making a fuss. I believe in karma and a couple of years ago he got them and one got stuck so he had to have a minor procedure to fish it out. I didn’t really say much to him except I told you it was painful didn’t I. 😉
