Awake. Can't sleep. In hospital. Annoyed and cant wait to go home.
Anyone else awake?

I am awake due to insomnia related to chronic pain. When will you be able to go home? Nights are the worst time as there is not much you can do in hospital. I wish you well. Do tell us more about yourself if you feel able.

I am but it’s 10pm here. I’m in bed but I’ll see you in about 4 hours when I inevitably wake up and can’t get back to sleep again.

One of my favourite daydreams is hibernation and a few weeks ago I decided I was going to do a version of it in January and February next year. Planning it is making me very happy at the moment, this is a crazy time of year for me so it’s nice to spend some time thinking about my lovely plans.

@Beekman I'd quite like to hear your hibernation plans.
Do they involve a cosy soft nest ?

I’m awake due to having anxiety about my package that Royal Mail pretended to try to deliver when I was in—twice!

I got it redirected to my post office and when I went there today it wasn’t there. They said to go to the Delivery office which is only open from 8-10am.

I don’t know why it is giving me such anxiety but it’s like me and this package are not meant to be.

Annoyed because I am still in hospital and don't know for how long.

Love the sound of hibernation plans. I'm kind of doing that for the month of November by default of being in here.

Have you tried earplugs to block out the hospital noise? I hope you’re able to go home soon.

ive been awake most of the night, my alarm is going off at 5an for a full day at work where i’ll be doing the job of 2 people on my own and I know it’s going to be ridiculously busy so I think subconsciously I’m annoyed and it’s stopped me sleeping. I’m not sure how I’m going to last til 1900 but needs must!

Hopefully not too much longer and you’ll be home. 🤞

I’m going to try to sleep now, I have to be up at 7am, that’s only 2.5 hours time. 😢

Sounds awful. Fingers crossed you can get a few easier hours during the day but it doesn't sound good if you have to do the job of 2 people... all the best with it.

I have earplugs but they are not comfortable. I might try them again though with an eye may that I have.. at least I don't need to be up to do a shift!

You dont have to be up but the day starts super early there doesnt it (understandable) but annoying when you havent slept all night...
Have you got any plans for Xmas?
Can you do some online shopping?

I fell asleep on the sofa last night & woke up 30 mins ago. Now wide awake.
