Go on just post yes or no if you like. It’s about Dr Hannah Fry obviously. I am compelled to argue with men in a futile way but I’m pretty sure women/anyone hate this term anyway.

Men of a certain age and above talking about girls/young women of an uncertain age and below.

Sparklesandspandexgallore · 25/11/2025 20:47

HausofHolbein · 25/11/2025 22:43

Ohthatsabitshit · 25/11/2025 23:02

Last heard by me from my male maths teacher in the eighties when he kept me after class. Gross

NeverDropYourMooncup · 26/11/2025 07:11

It's only ever said by men who need their hard drives checked - and banned from ever being within less than three miles from any secondary school or sixth form college.

Keroppi · 26/11/2025 07:16

No, it's something Humbert Humbert would say

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 26/11/2025 07:17

Who on earth said it?

CurlewKate · 26/11/2025 07:20

Need context…

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 26/11/2025 07:21

Ugh, it literally means "sexually attractive" and is only ever said about young women by old men. NOT a compliment 🤢

AgnesX · 26/11/2025 07:23

Yuk, so cheesy and sexist. Guffaw,, guffaw.

MyThreeWords · 26/11/2025 07:24

It's horrible - salacious while pretending to be wholesome - and always makes me think of this kind of nauseating Art Deco sculpture:

Also, 'nubile is lodged with 'pneumatic' in my brain, so part of me always think that whoever uses it lusts after a sexy female version of the Michelin Man

TheMAFSfan · 26/11/2025 07:49

Disgusting

CryptoFascist · 26/11/2025 07:50

Nauseating

AGirlCalledJohnny · 26/11/2025 07:51

Wasn’t pneumatic constantly used to describe large chested women in Brave New World? Which would make you right to conflate them MyThreeWords!

KilliMonjaro · 26/11/2025 07:51

Yep fucking gross. It’s giving posh sex pest.

thewintergarden · 26/11/2025 07:56

It gives posh sex pest vibes

CurlewKate · 26/11/2025 08:09

OK-I’ve googled. Of course it’s not a compliment. Has anyone said it is except for the arsehole journalist who used it?
