What to eat before exercise class and when? Help!

I have a new Pilates class after work twice a week at 7pm. I leave work just in time to do pick up at 6pm. Then I’m home with the kids until I leave at 6:50. What and when should I eat?! My schedule is too tight to allow time for meal prep generally. Help!

Honestly I’d just grab something small and easy- a banana, yoghurt pouch or a couple of oat biscuits around 6ish. Enough to stop you feeling empty but not so much you feel sick in Pilates. Then have a proper dinner when you’re home. Your schedule sounds full on, you’re definitely not the only one winging it before evening classes!

I have similar but don't like to eat too late so we have quick and easy dinners when I'm home. Soup with bread, omelette or beans on toast usually.... something I can make in five minutes and DDs and I can eat together before I go out again. They have a full meal at lunch as they have school dinners so it's no issue to have a light evening meal a few nights a week. I then have a cup of tea once I'm home and showered.
