(Board) games for adults

Looking for suggestions for things similar to Quirkle, Mexican train, Rummikub, for my dad for his Christmas, 2-4 players sort of thing, thanks

If he likes rummiklub he might like Splendor.

Patchwork is a 2 player game that he might like. I would ditto to Splendor, Azul is another (2-4) player game I’d put into that category of “fairly straightforward concept, quick to learn, play within half an hour”.

Carcassonne is a classic now but still a good game, but just a slight bit more complex to pick up.

One idea is Genius Star - you can play in pairs or by yourself. The Happy Puzzle Company website may give you further inspiration!
