Food processor recommendation

I'm looking to buy a food processor, but have the 'paralysis of analysis' considering them all, so am after some advice. It doesn't need to be a big, fancy do it all type, but I would like one that can pulse to breadcrumb (for making scones, crumble etc). I have a small electric mixer for cakes/dough, which is fine

I have been looking at the kenwood multipro go and Russell Hobbs Mini chopper, but am open to suggestions

I got a kenwood food processor 23 years ago and it’s still going. My mother has the same kenwood food processor for nearly 40 years. So my recommendation is the Kenwood

I have a Magimix and love it. Good quality and powerful, nice heavy base, came with plenty of blades and more are available to buy.

I had the big Magimix (5100?). I gave it away a couple of months ago as I hadn't used it for years, but a wonderful workhorse for two decades or more.

My Kitchenaid food processor is at least 15 years old and it’s a real workhorse.

Make sure you get one with a bowl that is big enough for your needs, and a blade that is close enough to the bottom to process small quantities, such as garlic and ginger for curry pastes.

I second this.

If you don't need something big and fancy I have one similar to this which is great (never use the processor much these days)
