Pizza ovens and BBQs

Hi. Currently revamping my garden and I really want to be able to cook out there. Looking for a really nice gas BBQ and would love a pizza oven, but there’s just so much choice! I think gas, and I like the look of the Tefal/Jamie Oliver one, or maybe an Ooni, but then I’ve been looking at the Ninja electric one and now I’m confused! I want something that gets to between 360 and 400 degrees and cooks pizzas in 3-4 minutes. Currently make homemade pizzas regularly, but my oven just doesn’t get hot enough!

Obviously, with the Ninja, or any electric one, I’ll have to put it away after every use, whereas a gas one can be covered and left out over summer, so that’s pushing me towards gas.

Any experiences with the ones I’m looking at, or recommendations for others? Also gas BBQs? Would be feeding 2 on a regular basis, but up to 10 for gatherings etc.

Thanks :)

We had an ooni gas one - it was fab. We've upgraded (or changed ?!) to a "pizza party" one (sounds awful but it is beautiful -and makes amazing pizzas!)
in the summer we use it almost every weekend- sometimes in the winter when it's dry too. Don't get one you'll have to put away as you'll use it less!

Yes that’s exactly what I was thinking re putting it away. I ideally want something I can leave out under cover and use all year round.

That's what we do. We have ann old outdoor table we repurposed for our pizza oven to stand on, and we keep it outside all year. We did initially but our ooni away every winter but we've found it is fine outside covered in the winter!

We got a 3 burner b&q gas bbq. It’s been 4 years now, outside all the time with a cover and it’s fine. It’s used all summer and deals with big numbers
