iPhone advice pro max or plus?

i need a new phone. I have been to all of the shops and had a good research but the monthly prices at the moment even with Black Friday are eyewatering.

There are better sim only deals so I have been looking at refurbished phones this morning. I would like an iPhone with a bigger screen so a plus size or a pro max. For roughly the same price I can get a 16 plus or a 15 pro max. Has anyone got a pro max? Is it worth it? Is there much difference between a 15 and a 16? It’s for the usual social media, photos and email. Thank you.

There's not a huge amount in it, they are both still powerful phones which will have at least five good years in them. Pro Max camera slightly better but the newer 16 keeps up too.

I have a 15 pro max and like you wanted the bigger screen. I would definitely be getting the same size again. I didn’t see the need to upgrade to the 16 or 17 but might treat myself next year.

I don’t know what your budget is but Apple so interest free over 24 months if you go for new - I always do that and get separate sim. That said sometimes 4 have good dels in unlimited data phones but I have a feeling that’s been for older ones when I have got them. My daughter has a 15 pro max and is very happy with it / she bought it for the camera.

I was in the same dilemma earlier this year and got the 16 plus. Really like it
