Gift list

Is there an app or web page or something that can be shared with family that I can add to and they can tick off when bought but I don’t get to see what’s been bought or ticked off?

I want to share with DH, adult kids, my parents but not know what has been bought so I still get surprised on Christmas Day.

Create an Amazon wish list & share it with people, people who use the link can see what has/hasn't been bought (so you don’t end up with duplicates)

However to not spoil your “suprises” don’t check the wish list once you’ve created it.

Of course Christmas is now all about materialism.
But I honetly hadn't realised the extent that it had become all about "me, me ,me," until I saw this.
How truly depressing.

Absolutely not! They all keep asking me for ideas. These are small £10 items I’m thinking of, but will mean I end up with a couple of bits that I actually want.

I just use my notes app and add links etc and share when asked. Lists are the way to go, you don’t end up wasting money on presents no one wants

Good idea!

This post was really taken out of context. I probably ask for the least stuff out of everyone. It’s just when I see bits and think oh that would be a nice Christmas gift idea.

DH and DS want to buy bits but don’t always get the brands of toiletries I like or know what I already have etc

@DisappointedD it’s the best way. That way you get the brands and things you actually want (it can still be a surprise) no one wastes money and no one is annoyed that they were given a bunch of tat for Christmas that goes straight in the bin
