Cheap robo vac?

I've been getting increasingly unwell, and trying to rethink things as useful rather than spoilt, or for an invalid...

I'm thinking of getting a robot vacuum for upstairs. I've had one downstairs for years and it's been utterly life helping, but I never take it upstairs as it's quite bulky and heavy, and I need one hand free.

I know they've changed a lot in the last few years, and I don't need all the back to base/ washing floors stuff. Just something that can happily cover 4 rooms either mapped or random and effectively clean carpet. Pet hair is a big issue, but relatively coarse, not silky wispy stuff that sticks to the carpet!

All suggestions gratefully received.

We have an eufy one, I can’t remember how much it was but it seems ok and it also mops!

Thanks so much for responding. Where I live they're relatively expensive, as in, little discount for black Friday. I've found a roborock for 100 gbp, rrp is usually 400, which is great because I'm used to that brand.

Thanks again.

Honestly OP, it’s a great idea to ease your life. But you don’t need to worry about the ‘spoilt’ angle in any case, (even if you didn’t have a physical need for another one.)
I bet when washing machines were first available or any of the other labour saving devices, there were an element of sad individuals giving their out Luddite judgements.
Technology has moved on, robo vacs are the way to go. Many people have a second hoover upstairs, so having two robo vacs is just an updated version of that.

This time last year we got one for ourselves as our joint Christmas present.
Best thing ever!
Sorry I can’t recommend a brand OP, but now is the time to grab a bargain with the Black Friday deals.

Thanks @Fifiesta - I know it's a bit daft, but it's not completely essential, but the dirt upstairs has been making me really sad!

I know my dh is going to be baffled, as we have a stick vac upstairs, but even the noise at the moment is too much.

Anyway, thanks for the pep talk!
