Tbf I think they were offering to show how to make it rather than sell them, but even so!

I quite like them

The person that's making these isn't joking, there's a market for such things; kind of amusing and wry sort of way.
I'm sure there are more than a few people that would find them hilarious, hopefully the giver knows the person really well!
