So sad. What a seemingly lovely guy he was.
I’m sat here happily singing along to their first album reminiscing about being a teenager. Anyone else?

Yes. It was a shock to hear of his death. And not very old either. Makes me feel old as all my music heroes are older and the 90s seems such a long time ago x

May he rest in peace and hope he is reunited with his wife who died a couple of years ago. I am blessed that I saw the Stone Roses live a few years ago.

Thoughts for his sons especially who have lost both their parents in a short space of time.

This has really upset me. Thinking of them poor lads losing their parents within two years. I don’t think they’re even in their teens.
Also feels like the end of an era somehow or a farewell to my youth

I was part of the Madchester thing as a young woman.

So sad.

I know poor bubbas. Singing their tunes was making me feel really nostalgic today. Their music just brings back such clear memories to me of my teens like it was yesterday 💛 Where does all the time go?
