9 month old not babbling

My 9 month old doesn’t babble he’ll make ‘mmm’ noises and a variety of squeaks and squeals and occasionally ‘mum’ and ‘dada’ but it’s inconsistent and not aimed at us always.

Should I be worried?

Just keep talking and reading to him! It's too early to know if anything is wrong, and too early for any other kind of intervention.

He walked at 10 months so think he was focussing on that! As soon as he could walk a few words came. He has just turned one and has about 5 words. It came on really suddenly. Hard not to stress, but it was literally overnight the change x
