Experience/thoughts on buying from Temu.

I have always been very anti buying from Temu. My main concern has been exploitative labour practices. However, I have reached a point where I realise that for certain products wherever they are for sale, they are manufactured in Chinese factories and look identical. I don’t buy much plastic due to the environmental impact. I make my own clothes, but don’t use synthetic fabric. Anyway, I gave in today and bought a bobbin case, some overlocker thread, miniature gardening tools for my houseplants and a bedspread at a tiny fraction of the price they would be from a UK retailer. The ones sold here are all made in China.

Please don’t shoot me, but tell me about your experiences.

@YouDriveMeCrazyButICanDoThatMyself that is from July ‘24 though. Apparently, no evidence has been found for this to date.

I don't buy from Temu, AliExpress or Amazon, Shein neither or Boohoo, those online places, never have, never will.

Yes, I get that so much in high street shops is made in China, but I'm not adding to the profits of the above, if I can help it.

I respect that. It’s also been my position (on all of the above except Amazon) until the order today.

I've bought a few things...no issues. Delivered on time, as described and no problems with payment.
