No advice but a bump for your thread.

We always buy Norwegian Spruce grown in Somerset by my neighbours.

Spruce always wins for the proper Christmas smell. Nordmann looks good and doesn't shed as quickly, but just doesn't have the magic.

Ahh different trees, I don’t know which to choose.

I prefer a fraser fir as they are a bit slimmer than the Nordman fir. And they smell better. Slightly harder to get though. Also have firmer branches so easier to hang decks on. I find Nordmans a bit floppy.

Nordman drops the least but a spruce is traditional.

I just go to the Christmas tree yard and pick one that isn’t too wonky…
