It seems having a vocabulary is now going to bar you from jobs because it's a word only "AI" could use.

Well that was a waste of 50 fucking years then.

It happens on here. Any well-written thread draws accusations of the OP having used AI.

My DD applied for a job and answered the set questions they asked; when she submitted them they asked her if she had used AI to write the answers. She hadn't. I had helped her to write them so there was no AI involved. She didn't get an interview for the job and im wondering now if they just have AI screening - that's clearly not always accurate; as a result, anyone who is semi-literate will be accused of using AI. We are living in shite times!

Bloody hell. People can't get jobs because AI has taken them over (doing them badly but no one checks, no one cares) BUT - you can;t get a job if they think you used AI? What a catch 22.

“Delve” rhymes with “twelve” and is used in the “One, two, buckle my shoe” rhyme, as in, “Eleven, twelve, dig and delve”, so in the days of yore, even five year olds knew it.

Both my daughter and have also had the accusation of using AI levelled against for our writing styles. DD is autistic. We will often have discussions on what word would be most apt in any given situation. Apparently caring about the best use of language means you have AI now. It's a depressing world.

I was "asked with prejudice" in my last role if I had use "AI" to write some documentation. Which I hadn't because generally I can write far faster than "AI".

It is possible to craft input to an "AI" engine to get it to bypass it's task, so if you know how you can get an "AI" screening bot to disregard all applications except yours.

"AI Wrangler" is most definitely an occupation now, even if people don't realise they are doing it.
