If you had £15 to buy 2 or 3 small gifts for a colleague you don’t know that well, what would you get?

Coffee shop voucher as they could get a cake and coffee for that amount.

I always think a nice shower gel that you wouldn’t buy yourself is a great gift male or female. Candles, lip balm, homemade biscuits (Etsy have some lovely Christmas ones) Also as previous poster has said, voucher always a nice idea

This is why I hate secret Santa!
£15 budget and you have to get 2/3 presents.
so just tat!
I’d go chocolates and wine.
but bid be a really nice gift if you spent £15 on one or the other.

also helpful to let the organisers know it helps if people suggest what they like! … then it can be fairly secret, rather than judgy or guessing!
… & we all know you should write to Santa!

If it was me I would like to receive a candle, lush, nice box of biscuits, nice chocs such as Lindt.
I would also gift any of the above. I also think a Costa, Starbucks, greggs voucher for wherever is local to your work place so they can grab lunch one day is a good idea

BigPurpleBookQueen · 16/11/2025 20:26

Put together hot choc, marshmallows, mug, fluffy socks, hand cream.

if male they may prefer -Tescos sell Christmas Ale in a tube for around £3, add posh crisps or nuts or pork scratching, also with fluffy socks.

Can you ask somebody else that knows them what they might like?

I've been the receiving end of the token "alcohol and chocolate" gift one too many times and as somebody who doesn't drink and has a chocolate allergy, it just makes me sad.

I've even had a friend tell the person that had me one year that I can't eat chocolate, and I still got it!

Stationary / toiletries set are the first thing that comes to mind ...look online for deals in boots /amazon etc. Sanctuary is also nice...

People seem to like Yankee candles too but I hate them as I never use them....
