Pelvic Floor - I feel completely low

Hi,
so at the moment I have an awful cough. Every time I cough I am wetting myself. I’m wearing pads constantly until this viral bug leaves me. I have been wetting myself day and night.

when I don’t have a cough , I cannot exercise. I tried to take up exercise and running but after a few attempts and embarrassment I gave it up. I was soaking wet with urine

I work in a health setting. I had to run during an emergency as someone was having a heart attack. When running I was wetting myself but I couldn’t stop as I was getting aspirin for this person. It was just awful.

I do drink coffee so cutting that back and I do exercises. Have downloaded the apps on my phone. Nothing works

I had 2 children. First child was delivered with the suction cup. 2nd child normal delivery.

I just feel I am huge and …. Baggy(?!) down there. Like there’s always air getting trapped lol. I don’t know how else to describe it.

surly this isn’t my life forever more ?

any help or advice please let me know. X

Have you been to see your GP about it? Not an expert but sounds like it could be a prolapse?

Also exercise wise, how about something less strenuous but still core focused like Pilates? It's really good for general core and pelvic floor as well

Hi, I damaged my pelvic floor years ago from coughing with whooping cough so I know exactly what you mean. I saw a pelvic floor physio and they helped with exercises (and pelvic floor weights) and I’m okay now (not trampolining brilliant but still working on it). Please see a physio - they will be able to help!

Thanks for this.
I just felt so rubbish today. I’ll book an app with my GP and hopefully ask to be referred because this cannot be normal. This is more than a little leak.

My pelvic floor has taken a nose dive recently, I wet myself trying to get the keys in the door a couple of weeks ago which has made me go back to using the Squeezy app.

I have too much other stuff going on atm but I should see a doctor about it but when I did years ago they just tell you to do pelvic floors.
