...but you didn't believe me, did you?

When I got back home 15 minutes ago and said the gap in the street outside our house was very slightly too small to park in and I had to park up the road, you decided I was being silly and of course the gap was big enough.

So you took my keys, didn't you? Because of course where a woman has failed to park, a man could do it easily. And you have just spent the last ten minutes trying to shoehorn my car into that gap and failed, haven't you? And then you had to come back indoors and confess that you couldn't park in that gap either.

😂😂😂

(lighthearted obviously)

Please do share any similar blunders, it can't be just me with a DH like this!

I think it maybe just you unfortunately!! I don’t know anyone (man or woman) who behaves like this. I’m sorry!! Hopefully he isn’t like this all the time!

Good grief, it’s a lighthearted thread so don’t be so sanctimonious

I often say I am right about all sort of things to my DH. We were on holiday and I got him a beautiful watch from a charity shop as he raved on about it. We were on our day out and straight away I said Leave putting it on until we get to our rented holiday flat. No he put it on, misjudged it and the watch smashed to the ground. He asked at a few jewellers and it was going to be a lot to fix it . He has kept the watch and told me it reminds him to take notice of what I say as I am wise and often right. One jeweller told him actually it can't be fixed and added It is a shame as it is worth a fair bit actually but now worth nothing. He said he regrets tring to put it on outside. Ever since he has always only put watches while in the charity shop .Wise after the event.

When we were first married and doing up our house, my (now ex) husband questioned every decorating decision l made. I made them because he wasn't particularly interested (he was more interested in technical stuff like tiling and woodwork than decor and colours) and just let me go with it, but once it was done, he'd say "I don't know if that goes with that...."
Every time we had visitors they said it was lovely (l appreciate they may just have been being polite).
But l went to art college so I think l've got a pretty good eye for colour.
And then one day he dropped into a conversation that before he met me he'd been turned down for the RAF because he was colour blind.....

My DH would do exactly this, OP! Except my DH would get it in the gap 😁

Oh no he wouldn't - the gap was about two inches smaller than the car. You couldn't get it in that gap if you dropped it in by crane😂

Just a side eye and a slight twitch at the corner of my mouth, yes. 😄
