Cricut explore4 help

hey all,

ive recently bought my first Cricut, excited to start with a fancy letter from Santa for my 3 year old... ive designed it on design space and decided what I want printed and what I want gold foiled... I have all the equipment to do it but it Is just not happening for me...

I ordered linen cards (not Cricut ones) just because I thought they looked really posh and ive started with printing what I want printed... lets just say it comes out all bulky and unreadable and because I want it on an a5- it makes things difficult for me as on design space im only able to select a4 or their measurements which make no sense to me.

then I thought - ok I could always use a pen on Cricut which worked better but then when I moved onto the foil transfer, I did everything correctly and im only getting a faint transfer which is weird because I selected the one with 3 lines on it and in material options I selected the thickest card size I could find but still... its not really giving wow factor like I wanted.

could someone please help? Im a little frustrated because I spent a lot of money on all the equipment and supplied as I wanted to make home projects for my kids so I really hope I am doing something wrong here and there's a simple solution.

thank you

As a Cricut Joy owner of about 5yrs, I have two words for you. Good Luck! 😆 My machine still makes me bang my head, in fact it's shut in a drawer and hasn't seen daylight for over a year!

Haha! You know, the funniest thing is that I bought it based on its ad I saw on YouTube like ‘you can do this. You can do that. At a click of a button’ and then I bought it and it’s like no you can’t do this because you don’t have this blade or you can’t do that because you don’t have these materials. Omg 😂 laughing and crying
