This story has just frustrated me mildly.

DEFRA have had to make budget cuts recently... but at least the staff are happy and want to stay.

Team building and bonding sessions sound like my idea of hell. To me flexibility, being listened to and understanding from management is much more important and more likely to enhance staff retention.
