Maybe it's me or the people I know, but I've been seeing a man for a few months who doesn't play games. He says he thinks, means what he says, makes plans and sticks to them, isn't afraid to express his feelings etc, or at least that how it seems so far.
I struck me how ridiculous it all was just now. He has a late meeting. I knew that, but didn’t know when he expected to finish. Often he comes here for a couple of hours on his way home after this kind of day, but I wasn't sure what his plans were tonight, and not wanting to seem too keen hadn't asked.
Then I told myself it's all ridiculous, sent a quick message asking what his plans are and he replied straight back to say he'd just finished and would call in if that's OK.
I mean, it shouldn't be a lot to ask, but it's not what I'm used to!
