you have to go on dragons den, in a weeks time to either pitch a business model or invention. What are you going to pitch? Doesn't have to be completely realistic as I doubt mine would be possible due to legalities but I think it's a good idea 🤣

ill go first:
im going to offer a business model which customers pay a monthly rolling direct debit to my company named TyredButCovered.
the direct debit price is set at the value of the car with various add ons if needed, like multiple vehicle policies, windscreen cover and a monthly full valet at your home or work place. The direct debit will cover all tax, insurance, MOT, services and tyre change. Essentially I will do everything for you so you do not need to worry about anything else aside putting fuel in the car.

What are you bringing to the dragons? As big or as small and simple as you like

This was trialled once for a tv programme and people incorporated it into their internal 'navigation' system incresibly rapidly..i think the same tc programme/series also looked at human echolocation. It was incredible!

Yep. They have this in Sheffield. It's part of the combined heat and power set up. Lots of roads in the city centre have hot steam pipes running under them so they don't freeze in winter.

I am asking for investment in a string of nationwide Get Your Shit Done Hubs to enable working women to Get All Their Shit Done in one swift day off work.

The hubs would operate in school hours and would incorporate a car mechanic, doctor's surgery, dentist and a concierge service. You would arrive and drop your car in for its annual service and MOT, and while that's being done, rather than waste the dead time, go for a dentist check-up, smear test and get any other minor medical issues investigated, repeat prescriptions sorted etc. Then you would meet with a concierge in the hub's very nice cafe and over a coffee they would renegotiate all your insurances, mobile and internet contracts etc for the year. Some hubs might also offer solicitors, tailors, shoe repair services and travel agents, as the business grows. Each would also have a 'Cook' shop on site so you can restock your freezer on the way home.

There would be specialist Nans who can give you advice on what went wrong with your Christmas cake or Yorkshire puds or your knitting or what tool you need for specific jobs and how to unblock your drain. (I know its all googlable but this is one to one). They will also do an adult bedtime reading, so a comforting read in a gentle voice and when you nod off they log off.

A company that will go to a hospital and offer massages ,hair ,make-up and other beauty services for hospital patients. These people could be booked at times that are free from anything medical going on. Also unless the hospital is wonderful with catering a service where patients can order lovely meals that are full of flavour, are tasty and reasonably priced. Last year when DH was in a northern hospital and the meals were not so lovely one patient told me to look at the menus for London hospitals. I made myself feel hungry there was tons of choice to reflect all the different countries typical meals.

Google ‘Aark flavour drops’. They’re for sparkling water but can be stirred into still water. They do a few flavours including mango and wild strawberry. Not cheap though!

Mine is an app or device that, when you wake up in the night, tells you immediately what time you will get back to sleep. Then if you know you’re going to be awake for 2 hours you can get up and do something productive instead of just lying there trying unsuccessfully to get back to sleep. Then you can just go back to bed at the appropriate time and go straight back to sleep.

lots of radio stations do this, this is what traffic alert pics up, but it pics up all of them in a 50 (?) mile radius. I work in different places every day. Furthest is 70 miles, i need their traffic news before i go!
