Eating out in Salisbury?

does anyone have any good recommendations for eating out in Salisbury? Somewhere quiet with lovely food for a couple of friends to have pleasant evening.
Any cuisine apart from Turkish (just been there on holiday!)

I’ve been looking at trip advisor but was a bit disappointed by the top 10… not sure a Harvester is what I am looking for…any good local knowledge on where to find good food in central Salisbury?

i’m not hugely familiar but there’s a decent Cosy Club, which is a few steps up from a Harvester!

Anokaa (Indian)
Tinga (Mexican)
Giggling Squid (Thai)

Barouska is also good, but it's Lebanese which is perhaps a bit too similar to Turkish.

It's a moderately sized chain but I went to Wildwood there and had a good meal.

Try The Chapter House 😊
Tinga is good but not very quiet!
The New Inn is a lovely pub too!

The Old Ale house is meant to be good, not eaten there just had drinks, but it's nice.
Ox Row Inn is lovely and does good food.
Cafe Diwali is meant to be good. They do lots of Indian street food.
My dd loves Giggling Squid, great food and looks a good place to have a meal with friends.
Anokaa is a wonderful restaurant.
Mauls is great too

I like wildwood when I go. Lots of choices and good gluton free options if you need that

@hibiscuslightening Oh just remembered! Lah Koh in Fisherton Street. Only had their takeaway and that was amazing! Especially their sushi & my dd still dreams about their Korean corn dog
